We are a happily married couple who spent the last 10 months searching for the perfect home. When we moved from the Midwest, we were extremely excited about the lower cost of living in our new hometown.
You may realize by now that this isn't a real family photo of us, but it represents the potential growth of our family over the next few years. We decided to build a home that could accommodate such expansion, still allowing us to be the hip individuals that we think we are (smile) and entertain our family and friends in an open layout.
We searched high and low for the perfect home. We visited at least a few dozen open houses for existing homes until we stumbled upon the street signs directing us to open houses of "Model Homes" from various builders.
We shopped around through the many models of KB Homes, PeachTree Homes, Dan Ryan Builders, Ryland Homes, and Ryan Homes and the list goes on. We finally realized that we visited the same Ryan Homes models and neighborhood almost every other weekend and compared other homes to their floorplans. We even met some potential neighbors in the Ryan Homes development and felt like we were already home.
